show Abstracthide AbstractIn mice, primordial germ cells (PGCs) complete migration into the genital ridge by E13.5; PGCs are followed by gender-specific fate. Male PGCs undergo mitotic arrest at the G1/G0 stage, and female PGCs enter into meiosis. At E13.5, both male and female PGCs are thought to have obtained some gender-specific features; however, it has not been well understood yet. To verify this hypothesis, we performed RNA-seq and ChIP-seq analysis of E13.5 male and female PGCs.
